ANIMA IN MOTU
DRUM CIRCLE PROJECT

Learn · Release · Connect

The Three Pillars

Learn

Rhythm as a tool for experiential and social earning.

Participants discover new ways of listening, collaborating, and expressing themselves through rhythm.

Release

Movement, voice, and percussion allow physical and emotional release.

Studies show group drumming reduces anxiety and improves mood.

Connect

Shared rhythm strengthens belonging, empathy, and social resilience.

The Therapeutic Aspect

The Animainmotu Drum Circle serves as a supportive wellness practice — not a substitute for therapy, but a space for empowerment, expression, and connection.

Research shows that after 10 weeks of group drumming, participants experience reductions in anxiety and depression and increased social resilience.

Group drumming acts as a non-verbal language that fosters safety, empathy, and unity within the group.

Why It Works

Musical and movement synchrony enhances biological and emotional bonding.

Group drumming lowers anxiety and uplifts mood.

Experiential learning cultivates adaptability, creativity, and collective awareness.

In our circle, sound becomes movement, and movement becomes connection. Together we transform energy into rhythm, anxiety into pulse, and isolation into community. Each beat reminds us: we belong.
